Home again, home again Jiggity Jig. It was an emotional long several days in the Dells. Dave's nephew met with a serious accident when an SUV pulled out in front of his MC. Thankfully he had a helmet on. He is in the Neuro unit in Des Moines and is doing better.
On Saturday, my late sister's 83rd B-Day we released her ashes. We linked 4 boats together and placed the urn into the water. It was a salt, biodegradible urn that would "melt" in 60 minutes. I found a free GPS app that will mark the location of where ever you take a screen shot. We came home yesterday as we do not like holiday traffic. We are off to Cantigny later for a brass band concert.

I'm trying to get over it, I go through on rare occasions. I'll get over it, I know I will. I quest I have to much going on for me this year, I do look on the positive sides of things, which does help me out. Indeed it's a nice day today.
Thank you for the huggers, I needed that. Thanks again Lisa.
Jason.

Jason, whatever is causing your blue streak, you need to get out and get over it. You can't be sad or down on a beautiful day like today.
Huggers to you.

Happy weekend,
How is everyone today? Well...for me today, I've been feeling blue since yesterday and still feel that way right now. I guess I've been feeling like that because I've been through a lot this year and I do mean a lot. I don't want to get into detail about it. I'm going to take it easy for today and tomorrow, maybe I'll ready a book or something to keep my mind off what's been making me feel blue since yesterday.
Sometime over this weekend I might order something over the internet, not sure what yet. Great that you got your items in the mail, have fun with them.
You got that right about a sure sign of Fall, at Target by my are starting to sell stuff that has pumpkin stuff in it and other items. The Dollar Tree by me are selling Halloween stuff already and other Fall time stuff. I do like fall time , but the first of Fall I do like.
Today and over the weekend I'll be playing it by ear.
Have a great day and weekend everyone.

Sounds good. I like chili. I can smell it all the way at my place, I thought I smelt something good cooking.

Happy Saturday,
It was nice to see Karen yesterday. We miss you!
I am doing some pickup this morning, paying bills, and talking on the phone. Just a normal Saturday.
I placed a couple of orders on the internet on Tuesday, and I just got both of them.
When I went to the store yesterday, I seen that the apple cider and carmel apples are being sold. A sure sign of fall.
What are you doing?
Hugs,
1 can Brooks chili mix
2 cans red beans drained and rinsed
2 cans diced tomatoes ( I used 1 can chili ready diced tomatoes and 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies)

Hello frinds! I have been coming and reading. I'm a lurker! I thought I would say hello tonight while I was speed through the forum! I'm working 2 jobs now. I still drive the school bus and on 3 days a week I am doing our local meals on wheels. I love the seniors I have for my clients. Since my sight is small, I am the only employee there so I really don't have much to do. Just keep my place all sparkly! I love to keep thing nice and clean. I had my right hip replaced in June, and I am doing great. I have been walking daily on my treadmill to build up my strength in that leg. The left hip was replaced in Dec 2010, and I can do anything with that hip I could do when I was younger. I have a new grandson, he's 4 months old. Born on Good Friday! I haven't lost any weight in a while because the right hip was in so much pain I pretty much did my jobs and then sat all the time. I am now up and moving and loving life again. I will be back soon, but I do read the post at least 2x's weekly!
