Morning, I only have the bus to drive today. That's enough, I have a couple little boys that need super glued to their seat! In a few years though they will be the kids you don't know are on the bus! I was excited yesterday at my other job, the meals on wheels, I found out that 4 of my male clients were the gentlemen that did the 21 gun salute for my step dad when he passed away in 2007! This made me feel so awesome! I was able to tell them THANK YOU from my heart! Having Taps played and the 21 gun salute was the only request my dad had ever had as far as his funeral! Small world! I would have never thought I would ever see any of these men again! But in conversation I overheard, they were trying to remember my step dads name, when they mentioned the town he lived in and the details, I asked a couple questions and then the rest is history!
Christine, I so need to do some major purging. I have things so out of order from not being able to do as good of job in cleaning when I had trouble getting around. Now I am so blah lazy, it's takes me time to get motivated!
Have a great day and hope the weater isn't as fierce as they are calling for!

Happy almost the week-end!
@ work and am shuffling the papers.
Been in purge mode at home to get rid of the crap in the basement. We are organizing the things to keep and the things to donate or give away to family or friends. Also looking into selling my Amish oak table with 8 chairs.

Good Afternoon Everyone!
We are in for a change in the weather tonight! It has been so pretty but is going to get colder. Sigh.
Yesterday I had jury duty. Such excitement. It was a nice day to have off work. The only problem was that I took a scooter and we had to change courthouses. When I was putting the scooter back in the car at the first courthouse, the weight shifted on me and I fell. I bruised my hand and my dignity but other than that I was not hurt. The embarrassing thing for me is getting back up after falling. Two gentlemen saw me fall and stopped and helped me up.
I cannot get up by myself. I am perfect for that commercial, "Help I have fallen and cannot get up!"
The case was projected to last 3 weeks so I felt obligated to request an exception as work would have had a coniption with me being gone that long. Well, when I got before the judge, he told me I was dismissed because I had fallen! I protested that I was fine and that had nothing to do with my ability to serve. In fact I wanted a 3 week vacation from work, but it was no go. Darn!
Work is just driving all of us crazy. We just are going nuts trying to keep our heads above water. I think we are swimming in circles, paddling madly and getting no where! Hopefully something will give soon.
Everyone have a great day!

worked both jobs today, I am so tired, not from working from lack of sleep. I have been so restless lately. If it continues I may go see about a sleep study. This headache is getting the best of me. I cooked turkey tenderloin in the crock-pot. I got it at Aldies it was pre seasoned and it is so good. I put it in 1 hour before leaving to drive the bus this afternoon. I put it on high for 45 minutes then turned it down on the lowest setting and it was all done when I just got home. I have sweet potatoes in the oven right now so dinner is just about done! Nothing really going on here in my world. Oh I am going on Spoon River Drive the next 2 weekends. Best place to find unique fall items!
have a great evening!

Been working from home since Monday. it's been busy.
I hit the 3 week stall. No movement on the scale in over 5 days. I knew it was coming, but I'm still frustrated.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Heading to Ottawa soon to start on month 2 of the 2015 season. This month we deal with shutoffs, elderly and people with kids under 5. October and November are our most craziest months of our season. Of course it would help if our applicants would bring in the right paperwork and don't tell us that a friend said they didn't need this or that. My response is when did your friend start to work for us? I know it sounds sarcastic, but...
I am still putting out fall/ winter stuff. But I can see the end getting nearer. I am just working on a bit at a time.
Hubert wanted waffles for dinner last lite, so to make them "healthy", I mashed up a banana, some raisens and a chopped apple in them. It really lightened them up.
Off to work,
Hugs
Currently at work and not much to do in the line of paperwork so I guess that I will attend to looking through case files so they can be in a state authorized destruction order in the new year.
