Hello everyone

Well I have more time now because my boss took my overtime away.  I think in an effort to "punish" me but actually she is doing me a favor.  I don't rely on the the extra money for bills.  It's always been just extra money.  So I don't need the over time.  In fact most of my Christmas shopping is even done.  So I really don't need this added stress.  If she wants to do this she is only hurting the department...I am now less available to help. 

Yes she is still coming after me.  And yes the higher up people know of this and  I was told it was going to get better I just need to be patient.  I am just sick of it.  And quite frankly I'm not convinced that I'm not the one that will end up fired in the end. 

Any way, I am busy getting ready for my trip.  I am going to Charlevoix Michigan thursday.  I am so excited to get the heck out of dodge.  I need the relaxation and change of scenery.

Work is less then 1 hour away. Today I am only 5 min away with the car, 20 min walking, but don't, I have to haul a computer and briefcase with me every day.

Last night, I spent it on the phone. First with my daughter Annette, then my friend from Bellville, a quick call from my cousi,, then 2 lenghty calls from Hubert's Aunt in Florida, assuring her that we will see her next week, while she is visiting here in Illinois. Then a call to her granddaughter to iron out all the details of when and where. Then a call to Hubert's cousin Joyce to let them know when and where. I will call Aunt Anita back this morning to tell her what was decided, and then call her son to let him know. All in all, I spent more time on the phone and computer last night then I did at work all day.

I need to take the meat from the freezer for supper tonight.

Good to hear that you are getting your strength back.

Gas is down to $2.99 here in Streator. With my loyalty points, I got it for $2.74. Happy Dance, since I was on E.

Work was better then I thought it was going to be. No problems today, no noisy kids, no clients that know more then we do about our jobs, just a nice work day.

Leftovers for supper, so it will be easy. I will lay my clothes out for tomorrow and make my lunch up, so I will relax the rest of this evening.

Monday - actually I am happy to be going back to work. When we were not at home over the last two days I was pulling stuff from the basement to donate to the resale shop. Or when in the basement I was looking over all of our cooking stuff and deciding what to give to family. We have so much because we would have such large Christmas parties that we needed several crock pots or large Tupperware for cookie storage. We have huge stock pots that we will never use again. I have family that loves to cook, is large and one is a chef. It really feels good to purge and all of it is just "things" and those things do not measure who we are.
