Oh yes I did. It was very good. Hit the spot too. All I had to do was come home shred the chicken and add the noodles and wait a bit longer. And...poof it was done.
Did you ever end up making your soup? I love chickie soup.

Good Morning, We will be driving up tp Morris this afternoon to have an early dinner with Hubert's Aunt
Anita from Florida. She is 93, and still travels and is as feisty as ever. We always look forward to Illinois visits.
Otherwise, housework and errands will rule my morning. Other then that, I may have to run in to the Streator Office this morning to do an emergency application. It will depend on if the girl gets her Social Security card from her BF. Who knows what some of the girls are thinking.
I will be so happy when these gloomy skies break.
Hugs,
I seen a recipe for Pumpkin Hummus on FB yesterday, I may try to make it this morning.
Hello everyone
So glad the week is almost over.
I am making dinner with this homemade marinara sauce that I bought in Michigan. I have chicken breast in the slow cooker with the marinara sauce. It will make the chicken nice and tender. I am making lasagna roll ups with the chicken. It will be yummy.
Other than that I have no big plans after work. Just running errands and than that's it.
Have good day all...see ya
Work, wake, dinner gala. That is the extent of my day/evening. The one fantastic thing is the gala we get all gussied up.
Is there anything special going on in your corner of IL?

Hello everyone
I have my chicken noodle soup in the crockpot waiting for me for dinner. I love my chicken noodle soup...because I don't put celery and I add corn. I use fresh chicken breast...some people use frozen or already cooked. Anyway...I love it and only make it when it's cold and icky outside. It just fits...soup and icky weather.
On another note I have been battling a UTI since Saturday. I am not sure why I got it. I keep thinking it was a change in soaps. I have been using organic bar soaps and of course for the trip for convenience I bought a travel size Dove. I was thinking the change might have caused it. Other than that I am not sure why I got it. I have been treating it with over the counter pills and cranberry pills and lots of water...which have worked in the past but not this time. I think it's time to see the doc for some antibiotics. Ugh!!!
So after work I will be going to the doc and then to Walgreens and then home for some yummy soup.
Why do you need a sound barrier?
Well back to work....have a good day all. Bye
Happy Wednesday! I just looked at our rain gauge and saw that we have had over an inch of rain since Monday. Good for the grass seed that was put down after the Ash tree was taken out. The new seed is coming along nicely and you can barely tell there was even a tree there before. We are not getting a new tree because there isn't enough room on the parkway for another one. New standards are 45' between trees and we only have a 55' lot. Fine with us-less leaves to PU in the fall. The contractors for the State are almost done with the installation of the new sound barrier behind our house. They are finishing up with the dirt in between the two fences. Someone in their wisdom decided to put a chain link fence (about 10' between) and then the masonry sound barrier. It is going to be all weeds in between the two fences. Not my problem. The director of Community Development has a lot of crankie people calling her. She cannot do anything about it because it is a state project.
What is happening in your world?

Hello everyone
Well got back into the swing of things yesterday...not that I wanted to. It was fairly easy.
I wanted to make a crock pot of chicken noodle soup today...what a day for it too. But stupid me forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer last night. Oh well I will make it tomorrow.
I have to run to the grocery store again for stuff I forgot to get yesterday. I am being quite the scatter brain.
Amanda got a job last week at a children's museum. She is really excited. Her potential to move up is great and they seem to really see her as a future asset. So I think she found herself a home and nice place to work. AND...it's walking distance from her apartment.
Well that's all the news from my corner of the world. How are all you doing?
See you all later.
Hello Everyone,
I ended up working by myself yesterday. My co-worker got a call yesterday morning about 9:30 that her sister has died unexpectively, an hour previous. She was only 42, and they found her on the basement floor. Very tragic.
We are staying home tonight.Tomorrow night we have plans to meet friends for dinner, then Thursday night we will be going to see Hubert's aunt, Friday not sure, but Saturday morning, I will be going to Bellville with Monica. Morgan has a Rainbow function, and we are going to do some things we like to do, and my friend Linda will join us for the day. She lives in Bellville.
I don't know when Vicki will be back towork yet, but I know she won't be in today, so, we will see how the day will go.
Hugs,
