I would have been crying that I did not bring my lunch as I do not have transportation to get food while at work. I have now started walking to/from work and there aren't any places to get food. The snack and soda machines are not appetizing for me.
Cruise booked and just need to take the deposit down on Monday. 4 days in Seattle near the Public Market and then 2 weeks on board ship.

When a young person is involved in a lot of activities it keeps them out of trouble. Take my word for it. I see so many kids info come across my desk that the parents are not involved or the kids are not involved with activities that they get into trouble with the wrong crowd.
Thank you for being supportive of Morgan and being involved in her life. She will go far!

I can't believe it's been 1 month ago today (10-22-2014) since I had my total right knee replacement. Where did the time go? I'm doing great and feeling great. Today I had my second follow-up and I got the staples removed (had 40 staples). Therapy is going great at the rehab place that I'm at. My tentative for release from rehab was for Oct. 24, 2014, it has been changed for Nov. 8, 2014 and the reason for that is that my right knee still needs more therapy and for it to be straighten out and I still to bend it some more too. Oh yeah! I forgot to say that at my appointment today that one of the team members from my surgery team said that someone will come over to the rehab place that I'm at is going to fit me for a "extensionator" (knee brace) to help my right knee to straighten out the rest of the way. My next follow-up is with my surgeon himself on Nov. 6, 2014. I wonder what he has to say by the time for that visit, there is only one way to find out ant that's by going to my follow-up with my surgeon. Each day is a good day for my. My PT and OT is going great, I get it every day Mondays thought Fridays, also I get one of them on Saturdays and the other one on Sundays. I can't wait for my right knee to heal up so I can move on with my life. I can't wait to get my left hip done and I hope I can get it done in the Spring time of 2015. I hope that the Spring of 2015 get here soon so I can move on with my life.

Hello everyone
It's a cool Fall day. I had to run out to Walmart on lunch because my lunch is sitting on the table at home. So basically my cottage cheese has to be thrown out now. I bought a new one. I always buy lunch stuff for the week and bring it to work and leave it in the fridge. That way I don't have the problem of leaving my lunch at work...well I did today. I also left my breakfast too.
Today after work I am getting my hair cut and colored. And when I get home I will have buffalo wings waiting for me. That is it for me.
Yesterday I went to the Gyno and she commented that I get too any UTIs and she said the next one I get she is referring me to a urologist. Great...that means I will be going to a urologist. Because of course sooner or later I will get another one. She also is doing blood work.
Another Alaska trip sounds nice.
Well I gotta go. have a nice day
Good Morning,
I will be leaving shortly for work. Then to Bloomington to see the Choral concert at BHS. Morgan is not only in chorus, but also in Show Choir. It will be a push to get there on time, it starts at 6:30.
Have a good day,
Hugs,
Off to see the Wizard here in a short while. After work today we are going to the travel agent to start the early planning for next year's cruise to Alaska. After that we have a wake.

Hi friends,
We had a calm enough day that I got almost caught up on paperwork and rearranging needles. Tomorrow Kelly comes back--yeah! IT was hard working without her. She adds so much to the shop. Over the weekend we went out to a fibermill in Caledonia to see how yarn is spun on big machines. Very interesting! I bought a toy sheep to sit in the store.
Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning.
I am sorry I have been MIA, but I have been busy.
I was in St. Louis this past weekend. It was fun. Came home with a loaded car. Both Monica and I shopped til we dropped. My highlite was finding a 3 ft stuffed bear, dressed like a woodland Santa. Not sure where she will live at Xmas, but I know she will be a lovely addition to my Santa collection. I found it at a flea market in Alburn, Illinois.
I was also able to spend Saturday with my best friend, we have been friends since we were 12, and in Jobs Daughters. She went shopping with us.
Yesterday, was a day from H! My co worker was off, and I had people from opening, until closing.
I will be off to work shortly.
Have a good day.
Hugs,
Off to see the Wizard of Work soon. This evening we will be attending my doc's bariatric reunion. Fun, games, fellowship w/other patients, learning to live a healthier lifestyle . . .
What is happening in your world?
