I try to do as much as I can for this girl. She is newer and is kind of ignored because she is not one of the long time employees like the rest of us.
Actually it is her birthday.

Hello everyone
Well yesterday was a bad day. One of my friends at work got fired...for no good reason. She was a good worker and she didn't make mistakes. Why did she get fired...I'm not sure. It makes me nervous. If they are willing to fire her then why not fire me?
Then I thought my part of the auditing was done and I found out there is more. Ugh...this doesn't make me happy at all. I don't know what else they are going to make me do. The first part I was able to cruise through. Maybe they need to make it harder.
Yesterday I made some yummy chicken enchiladas. Not so bad with the calories as I went easy with the cheese on my part.
Today after work we are going to the IMAX theater and seeing Interstellar. This will be my first time at an IMAX theater. I hope its as great as everyone says.
Happy administrative Assistants Day to anyone that is one. And Christine that is very nice of you...
Well that will be it for me. have a good day everyone
Good morning everyone,
I'm going to do some things off & on for today around my apartment. Tomorrow I'll be starting my outpatient physical therapy at ATI Physical Therapy for 12 visits. Yesterday I went in to ATI to get the paper work going and a visit with the person that I'm going to work with on my therapy. I'm looking forward in having my therapy so I can get better and get my right knee better. I know all will go well for me when I have my outpatient therapy.
Since I got home, I've been taking it easy for right now so I can get back in the swing of life back at home and the world. It feels good to be back home.
Have a great day everyone.

Still could use a few of these
Cantigny was impressive with all the luminaries on the parade field. The 1st Division Museum was where we spent most of our time.
It is the admin asst's B-day today so I am bringing in treats. She is a vegetarian (not vegan) I bought cheese, crackers, fruit and veggies.

I like ground turkey in a sauce that I make to go with spaghetti squash but because it is lacking in fat it has a tendency to be less flavorful. Your idea for the 1/2 - 1/2 sounds like a good option.

I have a few things to do today. I am making chili for lunch, using the rest of the beef roastI made Sunday, instead of hamburger. I made turkey chili a few weeks ago, and hubbie did not like it. He saidhe could taste the turkey. I think it was because he saw me adding it instead of hamburger. We will see. At some time this winter I will try it again, but use 1/2 turkey and 1/2 beef.
Hubert is off today, so he and the SIL are going to work on the apartment again. I will probably have to be the gofer again.
Say thank you to any vets you see today.
Hugs,
We are almost mid week everyone!
We are off to Costco after I am out of work and then onto Cantigny for their Veteran's Day celebration. We are meeting up with my niece who is currently serving in the Navy Reserves out of Great Lakes. Her middle son will join us.

Crystal, I cannot remember the last time I have gone to OG - I love their salad more than the bread sticks.

Hello everyone
I had a busy Saturday and a not so busy Sunday. Gotta love those not so busy days.
We went to Olive Garden yesterday and I couldn't resist having one bread stick. Well I guess my band wasn't happy with that bread because I had a bit of an episode. it was the bread...And as soon as it passed I was fine. But Greg was very concerned and he said I read that sometimes those bands can slip out of place. And I kind of laughed and said oh ya they can but if my band slipped out of place I would have more than one episode and likely wouldn't be able to keep much food down at all. I told him I probably didn't chew the bread well enough or took too big a bite. I rarely eat bread that much. So I should have been more careful.
Anyway...today is just a run of the mill Monday. Which is good or bad depending on how you look at it.
Well Back to work....have a good day.
