Good morning everyone,

How is everyone?

I wish Spring would get here already.

Today I have to wait for FedEx to get here (between 8:00 a.m. & 8:00 p.m.) to pick-up a package. Looks like it might be a long day for me today. Depends on the pick-up today I might go up to Michaels to get an item or two that I need to get for one of my souvenirs that I got on my trip. Plus I still have to do thing/stuff around my apartment today. I'll be seeing my other aunt some time over the weekend, she's going to take me grocery shopping for some items that I need to get for the week ahead, also I got my aunt some souvenirs from my trip. This coming Tuesday I have a dental appointment for a routine check-up and cleaning which I'm overdue for a check-up and cleaning. It's been awhile.

Sorry to hear about your watches Lisa. I wish you luck today.

Have a great T.G.I.F. day today everyone.

TGIF, The sun is shining and the sky is blue. But, it is not a warm day. Predictions are for heavy snow on Sunday night into Monday, I guess the groundhog won't see his shadow. But, I will venture to say we will still have at least 6 more weeks of winter.

I need to go to Walmart today and get a new watch. I either lost or misplaced mine on Wed. Plus my good watch needs a battery. I did dump  5 fashion watches the other day. None of them worked and you can't get the backs off, so, for 5 bucks, I will buy a new one.

No plans for this weekend. What about you?

Hugs,

Lisa

Hello everyone

I am about to get overwhelmed at work with audit stuff.  I hate audits.  It's so much extra work for me.  Ugh!!!

Today is leftovers.  I have decided that once a week is leftovers day.  And we eat what's leftover from days before.  We were tossing too much food.  I hate waste and I don't like eating old food.  So I decided Thursday is leftovers day....eating stuff from just the past few days.  No more waste!!!

I am still eating my greek yogurt for breakfast and almonds.  Really good protein.  I am happy.

Well I HAVE to get back to work because I have a million things to do now...thanks to this audit.  Have a good day all.

Hi everyone,

Another busy day for me today of things to do and some places to go.

Thank you Lisa. I was like that too, but I calmed my nerves down long enough to do the zip line, I had fun doing the zip line. Cool.

Have a great day everyone.

Carla,

So sorry for your loss. Listen to your Dr. You need to get well, not travel all over. Crosstitch sounds fun, I haven't done any since I did a sampler of the Hebrew alphabet a number of years ago. I used to enjoy it.

Congrats to your son in law. Mine finally got one in DeKalb a bit ago. He was out of work for almost 6 mts.

Hugs,

LISA

Hi all,

I'm gearing up to drive to Ocala tomorrow. I'm going to a Crosstitch meet for the weekend.

My heart is in Chicago today but my body isn't. I had two cousins die two days ago. One I expected to happen. She was very sick. She had Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. She died from complications. The other one was took her life the same day. She was brittle bipolar. So sad. I wanted to get on a plane yesterday but with just getting out of the hospital last week the doctor told me I can't travel by plane this week.

On a good note my son in law finally got a job in Lake Forest. I'm so relieved! So they will be moving to inebof the northern suburbs.

As usual. I woke up early on my day off. Am I really that determined to get to the housework and errands?

January will be leaving quietly for us. No plans for the weekend. I will be working on a puzzle some of the time.

Work is really slow. Yesterday, we didn't get our first client until after 11.

Jason, welcome home. I don't have the nerves to try zip lining. My daughter Monica has done it, and loved it also.

Have a great day,

Huggers,

Lisa

Hello everyone

LOL...I have Zip lining on my bucket list.  I saw a couple Groupons for it before.

We bought our tickets for Washington!!!  I am going to see Amanda the weekend of Easter.  We are already finding all kind of things to do.  But we do have to keep expenses down because we have house hunting and a wedding to plan...all this year.  But I was lucky I got my deposit back and that practically covered the whole trip!!!

Today I'm not doing anything special.  But that's ok...same old, same old is not too shabby these days

Carla-  I wanted to let you know that we used a site that you recommended.  cheapoair.com.  It was much cheaper than some and just a little cheaper than others.  This site was the cheapest for our needs.  Thanks for the tip.

Well gotta get back to work...have a great day all.

Good morning everyone,

What a good day. My first full day back home from my trip and have a full day of doing stuff around my apartment and a few things to pick-up at the store and mail some stuff.

Yes, zip lining! You got that right on the "OMG", I worked myself in doing the zip line (I told myself "If I can ride an airplane to and from Arizona I can do the zip line.". So I did it and WHAT A RUSH! It does sound like a crystal thing to do. I never done it myself until two days ago, I myself never had the desire to do it, but when I had my WLS and saw some pictures and videos on it and it looked awesome and something fun to do (at least once in my life) and guess what? It's worth it. Yup, I'm adventurous (that's one reason I go to Arizona for) and brave. I'm glad that I did it and I checked it off my bucket list with a vengeance. I would love to do it again when I get the chance. I'm still pumped from the ride and when I look at the pictures that I took from the zip line I'm pumped from looking at the pictures too.

I posted a few pictures on my profile of the zip line ride in my photos area.

I got to go now. I have things to do and places to go.

Have a great day everyone.
