Called tonight-surgery in 7 days

I got the call around 7:00 tonight that I will have surgery in one week. Wow, that took me by surprise. I didn't even get my last supper, because we had already had dinner. I had planned on it being the perfect pizza and beer. Oh Well ! Clear liquids start immediately. Pray that my kids won't be scared. I am afraid, but trying to be very upbeat for them. Kim M.
