ASR Insurance

Hi everyone. I am in the process of being approved for the Lap Band proceedure. I have had my first visit with Dr. Hammer and all the other visits required by him and my insurance. Now I am waiting for everything to be submitted to his office so they can then submit it to my insurance, which is ASR. I am very excited about having it done but am worried about my insurance covering me. They do cover bariatric surgery but it has to be medically necessary. Does anyone else have ASR Insurance? If you did, what was your experience like? Any encouragement would help. Thanks so much!! ~Amy K.~
