Stalled please help!!!
Not loosing for a week at the point you are at is normal. It is not a true plateau until you have not lost any WEIGHT OR INCHES for 30 days. If your clothing is getting bigger on you then you are loosing inches. What has happened is that your body has become accustomed to your routine. Now is the time that you need to shake up everything. Up your protein, water and exercise. Try doing your exercising at a greater intensity several days a week. If you have received clearance from your doctor try adding weight training to your workouts. Lean, healthy muscle burns more calories. If you feel intimidated by the weights and the machines enlist the help of a personal trainer if you can manage it financially. It was some of the best money I ever spent on myself. If your doctor's office has an exercise physiologist then give him or her a call as they might have some suggestions for you. Go to your support group and ask questions also, get suggestions from some of the further out POs. Just remember, this too will pass, the scale will move, but you have to move also in order for it to start moving again.
