Need a Rockford Area PCP

Anybody out there that has a wonderful PCP? I'd love to know a supportive WLS PCP or even just a supportive PCP. My PCP and I are not a good fit. KimM.

Hello again Kimberly, I once again would recommend Dr.Darland. He is a PCP, as well as a weight loss advocate. He and his wife Karen will pull out all of the stops to help you with everything! He is my sisters PCP and he was my weight loss Dr. and I cannot say enough nice things about them. Give it a try if you want, I know I sound like I am pushing for him , well.... maybe I am, he is awesome . I have other friends who use him too, they all love he & his wife, Something to think about. hi kim i live in rochelle!! my doc her rocks...it's dr pocius at rochelle med group and she is great!!!!i had surgery 5 months ago thru cori and she did all she could to help. good luck huggs christy

Kim, My doctor is a sub at Barix in Belvidere, Dr. Kent Hess. His office is in Belvidere and he's just an all around good doctor. Terry

Thanks Terry, you are the second person to mention Dr. Hess. Did he refer you for wls? He obviously must be competent in the area if he is a sub at Barix. Which hospital does he like for his patients to use or where is he affiliated? KimM.

When I started researching WLS, I didn't realize that Dr. Hess subbed at Barix. I just happened to be there one day doing my preadmission testing and saw him there. I realize now that if I'd talked to him about it, he would have given me any info that I needed. He's affiliated with Swedish American Medical Group, so I know he has privileges at Swede's but I'm not sure where else. Terry
