Rockford area support?

Are there support groups that meet near Rockford? Are they for people who have had surgery or can people who are just investigating attend also? Input anyone? KIM M

Kim, there's a group that meets in Belvidere at the Barix clinic, which is supposed to be for their patients, but if you're investigating, come anyway. Their meetings are the second Monday of the month (tonight) at 7:00 They also have seminars a couple of times a month. There's also a group that meets at OSF on E. State next to Tumbleweed, on the last Monday of the month, at 6:30. That's supposed to be for OSF patients, but I attend that one, also. Terry

Hi Terry, I see that Dr. Vaughn was your surgeon. I have met with him. Thoughts? I think I would like to meet with patients prior to having the surgery. Thanks for the info. KimM.
