Allied Benefits and 6 month diet

Does anyone have any expeience with Allied and the 6 month medically superivised diet they require? Would prescriptions, weekly weigh ins, M.D. diet suggestions and daily food journal count for them?

Hi, I'm not sure about Allied, but I had Humana PPO and they wanted everything you mentioned, except they only required that you went monthly for the weigh in. I used Dr. Darland for my program in the past, because he is relatively inexpensive and covered all of what I would need. Thanks so much for your reply. Is Dr.Darland in town? I went to Dr. Gupta, but he only gave you a few sheets to follow, twice a month weigh in and blood pressure checks, suggested exercise and gave out prescriptions. I'm worried that won't be structured enough for my insurance company. Thanks again. Kim

The more you do the better! I have BCBS, and they are bad. I have learned that the more that you do is better. It gives them less to complain about.

Melissa is being put thru the wringer for hers, I thought I had it bad waiting the short time it took for my approval, boy was I wrongo!
