i am only 3 months post op and am delighted with the weight lost. i started out at 270 and after 3 months have already lost 60 pounds. unfortunately most of it has been from my breasts. i know that we are supposed to wait to have reconstructive surgeries, but i want to get on a waiting list ahead of time. i am only 25 and my breasts make me feel 85 and i wish i was exaggerating. i was a 44DD. now i am a 38D, but it is ALL SKIN!!!!! i am miserable. no bras fit right. i need to at least talk to a surgeon but can't find one in illinois that takes the medicaid card. please someone help. (otherwise, post op is going great. went from a 24 to a 16 in just 3 months.......woohoo!!!!)

Can you tell me what kind of hoops you have to jump through to get medicaid to pay for the tummy tuck? Do you know about arms or legs and butt? I really need a lower body lift. Any assistance you can give would be wonderful. Thanks Shelley

Shelley,I had chafing and rawness and sell's coming from the lapped over skin and that was the reason for the tummytuck,I had no hoops to jump through the Doctor's office took care of the insurance company and paperwork and everything as they did for my surgery and my hernia repair,I have never had any trouble's with medicaid at all through this doctor, but I am no where ready for the rest of my lower body to be repaired even though I would like to be because I am always having the sweats and it is very bothersome, but I am sorry tyo say I know nothing about the lower body, but you should try to call Dr.Marshall and see what you can find out.His number is on the original post above,Hope this helps!!! Candi
