DESPERATE!!! (I'm new here)

Does anyone know if their is a surgeon in IL. or St. Louis Mo. who accepts medicaid/medical card whatever they call it. I have BCBS and medicaid as a secondary. I am 150pds overweight, I have sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, mild asthma, back pain, depression. Thank you for your time.

Hi Janice, Try calling Northwesten Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Ask for the Wellness Center and they will let you know what doctors take your insurance and they have an awesome program. Good luck to you Kathy 330/118

Dr. oliphant in Champaign accepts medicaid. I have medicaid and just had my surgery in december. He is really good and His staff is great. The surgery is done at Carle clinic. Trisha

Hi There, Yes I know of a surgeion, Dr. Lawrence Zachary, University of Chicago,773-702-1000. I had my gastric bypass July, 99, started my reconstructions with Dr Zachary in 2000. I have had my beast reduction, abdominoplastyl arms (brachioplasty), thigh reduction, butt lift, and nips and tucks. DHe Dr. Zachary has a great attitude, and he knows how we feel as aptients that have lost so much weight, and still have skin all over.
