pregnacy after wls

hi there i had surger oct. 18, 2001 and started at a size 30 and am a size 8/10 now. i went in for reconstructive surgery an adomnioplasty yesterday 1-12-2006. well i wasnt able to have surgery yesterday cause i found out i was pregnant and at first i was totally shocked as you can beleive. i was on the verge of tears. i will be able to have surgery in about oct. this year. the thing i was wondering is if there is certain things to keep close eye on during pregnancy and also is the morning sickness the same as before surgery. it has been 16 years since i have done the baby thing. i am getting excited though getting over the shock and my husband and son are excited. if anyone can give me some help on this subject and any other tips that would be great. thank you all. tarao

I have a 10yr old 4 yr old and after surgery 1yr out i was pregnant, not expected, both olderce me so sick the whole time 24/7, with the baby now (6 months old) i was sick for 1 month, month number 2 found out if i ate every 2 hr on the dot i would be fine,everybody is different. Just make sure you take your vits. and protein so your hair doesn't fall out really bad after baby i heard that happens. Enjoy the new one on the way. When you have to do the glucose test ask for the 3 hr test. Save yourself the headache redoing it later
