ANYONE HAD RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY THRU BARIX IN BELVIDERE?

HAS ANYONE HAD ANY DEALINGS/SURGERY WITH THE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEONS AT BARIX CLINIC IN BELVIDERE IL? ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE HELPFUL. I AM JUST STARTING TO CHECK INTO PLASTICS/RECONSTRUCTIVE. I HAVE SOO MUCH UGLY HANGING SKIN EVERYWHERE. THIS SUMMER, I AM AFRAID, I WONT BE ABLE TO WEAR SHORTS OR SLEEVELESS TOPS, AND FEEL NORMAL. ITS PRETTY GROSS!!! THANKS, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. Hi, OMG have I had reconstrucdtive surgery. I went to Dr. Zachary, who is a University of Chicago Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeion, for the last 5 years. I weighed 430 lbs. and the skin was incredible when I got down to 305. I was lifting my belly into bed, when I turned. etc etc/ I went to Dr. Zachary and told him what I wanted to accomplish, he then told me what was possible, and we developed a 5 year goal. Julie, I've been to the seminar with Dr. McAdoo at Barix. They recommend waiting until 18 mos to 2 years out to make sure you're done losing. If you go to one of his seminars, you'll get a free consultation with him. Call the clinic and ask when the next seminar is. And I hope you can make it to the monthly support group meeting on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 at Barix! Terry
