Finally.... the ball is rolling

I'm am soooo excited. I know I have a long way to go yet but I have been researching and trying to find a surgeon to take medicaid since last July. Thank you Regina Clark for telling me about Dr. Shayani in Loyola. I called last week and saw him on Tuesday of this week. He was great and I'm glad I've made the decision to have him do the lapband. I've got tests to do yet, but I've finally got the ball rolling in the right direction. I also want to say thanks to the rest of you. I'm so glad I found this site, you have all been more helpful than you know. I found alot of interesting information here in reading the boards. I have also found that I am not alone and you guys are going to be a great support team. Thanks again and have a great day. Gina
