Lap Band Surgeons in Central Il?

My mother is looking into Lap Band. Does anyone know of anyone around the Decatur, Mattoon, Effingham area that does Lap? Thanks, Tiffany

Hi. Everything went great with my open RNY. I've had no problems whatsoever. I'm 7 months postop having lost 77.5 pounds since surgery and 91 pounds total (six-month doctor-supervised diet preop). I had my surgery at John Warner Hospital in Clinton. Loved the electric lift/recliner. I stayed in the recliner rather than the bed as it was easier to get in and out of. The staff at John Warner was great. Since it is a small hospital, you see the same nurses throughout your stay. (If you have your surgery at Clinton, tell Nurse Betty I said hi!) Take some ChapStick with you to the hospital and walk, walk and walk again as soon as you can after surgery! Good luck!
