medicare/medicaid approval?

Hi Marie....my name is Barb...I have been at this business at trying to get WLS for a while now. I have my second consultation with CORI on Jan 4th, 2006 (mind you, I had my first, 8/12/05, but they switched surgeons on me). As far as medicare being approved...it is automatically approved there. They do not take medicaid anymore.....I could only imagine because medicaid is slow at paying...I don't know. I am hoping with my second consultation....they were talking about having my surgery that month....I have been waiting a long time and this will be my last try at this...otherwise...I will try and do all this by myself. My angel, Anita, had her surgery (through medicaid only) on 11/9/05 amd she has lost almost 40 pounds already....so I am more than ready to join her!!!!
