revision- springfield

I am looking for a Doctor in springfield that does revisions. I was approved today but they want me to have a surgeon in springfield. I should be jumping for joy but now i am frustrated. thank you. Lori

There are only two WLS doctors in Springfield The COMP clinic at 545-2667. You can talk to Cindy - the patient co-ordinator and ask her if they do them. They are in the bayless building at memorial. Then there is Dr. Hammer with SIU. You can reach him at 1-866-205-7915. If you have already been approved I would assume you have been going through another doctor up until now? Why do they want you to switch doctors? Can your current doc recommend one? Good luck hopefully one of them will be able to help you.

thank you for the information. My husbands employer will not cover the hospital stay in Champain, Carle Hospital. He works at another Hospital and they have an exclusion for Carle. So after all of this time I find out I can't have surgery there after being approved. The other hospital the doctor does surgery in doesn't take my insurance. I really want to stay with my current doctor but it looks like I don't have a choice. I will try these doctors. Lori
