I give up on....

finding a doctor....I tried and tried. I know I vent a lot but, I'm so tired of calling, writing and get a *NO* for an answer.....I have called StLouis, Chicago...Springfield,....Decatar,.....Champaign.....Aurora,....many places, you name it I called there....and all wont take Medicaid anymore or too full or havent got paid yet so their not taking any more patients....arghh! I'm on a fixed income and cant pay out of pocket expenses.....and my credit is shot from a previous marriage...... I know I should hang in there but this has been going on since this pass June.....and have the phone bills to prove it....I even got so desperate I called Indiana....was going to stay with relatives and appy there for coverage...(medicaid) and no one will take it there....same reasons above.

Have you tried Dr. James Madura from Rush in Chicago. He does GBS out at Cook County hospital. It's worth a call. I do beleive he takes medicaid patient there, and possibly medicare. His office is on the site. He's the only one I know of, and he is excellent....

Hello Have you tried Dr.Fred Tiesenga? I know he dose take Medicaid. He did my surgery back in March/2005 and I feel great!! I had Lap RNY. My loss is 82lbs to date and feeling great!! Dr.Tiesenga is located in Oak Park IL, He performs his surgerys at West Suburban Hospital. I wish you all the best. CHER

Wow Cam I would of met you at the meeting on Nov/21st. I usally show up and answer questions for you newbeesss! This is the first meeting that i will have missed in 9months!! Im so sorry I wont be there. I will be on my first vacation in years!! You take care and email me if you have any questions OK I will be back to the meeting in DEC. I had Dr. Madura also, and although I have insurance I do believe they take Medicaiad and he is an exellent Dr. I had my surgery in july of this year and so far I am down 76 pounds best of luck to you!
