OT: e-mail help/Mediacom

Hi there! I'm originally from Central Illinois! Just wondered if anyone out there could offer a little computer help. A friend of mine has Mediacom as her internet/e-mail (her e-mail address ends in .mchsi). She had a problem a few months back with her computer so had to have all her programs reinstalled. She is up and running again and able to send out e-mails to people, but no one else can e-mail her. I guess they are all blocked or something. With my AOL, I know I can go into a section within my e-mail area and can select whether I want just certain e-mails to come through or anything, etc. I'm sure there is a section within her e-mail that probably has the same type of thing but not being familiar with how Mediacom works, I can't offer her any suggestions. She's very timid with the computer so hopefully it's an easy fix that I can talk her through! If anyone out there who has Mediacom could give me any suggestions on where to find those settings, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you so I can pass it along to her. She's tried calling the 800 number but sits on hold for what seems like forever and no one ever comes on after a long time so she ends up hanging up. Thanks so much! Jill P. 288/174/145 9-21-04
