POSSIBLE TO OVEREAT?
Hi Joe, I am a bandster, and no, I could never dream of eating an entire pizza, even in the early stages of my fills. I ate one piece of pizza the other night and ended up doubled over and sick. I have tried to push myself just because I love food, and when do, I pay dearly. I still don't have proper restriction but have been very thankful for the slow learning process. I have had to change my eating habits gradually and for me, that was a good thing.

I have had the lap band surgery and I cannot eat a whole pizza ...I can eat alot because I need another fill but I could not nor want to eat a whole pizza. Nor could I eat as much as I use to. I may be able to eat 2 pieces of pizza. I can also eat what ever I want. The only thing that has gotten me sick was turkey. I chose this surgery because I wanted something that was less invasive and was reversable. Also I would like to have more children. If I were 10 years older I would probibly had done the ds switch which I hear is more successful than the band and RNY.
Good Luck
