Support Group around Springfield

Does anyone know if there is a support group in Springfield or the surrounding area?

The comp clinic has a wonderful support group three times a month, but I am not sure if you have to be a patient of thiers or not in order to attend. Worth a call to the office 217-545-2667. There is also a cost to attend thier groups, since it is considered a nutritionist/counseling visit. ALso, I would think you would be able to attend Dr. Hammers Support group, it is only one a month (second Tuesday from 6-8 PM) but since you started out as his patient he perhaps would let you attend. Those are the only two I know of - we should start one, as I know several people from the board that have had thier surgerys out of town! Glad to hear you are doing well. I am waiting on a call back from Hammers office regarding the insurance approval.
