Hi Everyone, Well, what a life experience that was. To not be able to walk a year ago and then do a 5k run/walk. This tool does help make dreams come true I made sure I had our Inspiration Bracelet on and my before picture just in case When you see the pictures of me getting close to the finish line I swear the look on my face was one of "I am going to die", "I am going to die" But I didn't die and not only did I make it, but improved my time. What's up with that. It took me 60 mins on the treadmill and I made it in 47 mins. Running on the hard road is soooo different than a treadmill. I would love to be able to run always, but I think my bones are saying I did cry when I crossed the finish line. Can't tell you what a high that was Anyway, enjoy the pictures and I am going to go soak my feet If I can do it, so you can you Take care, Kathy

Wow Cathy - what an accomplishment! I hope to be able to walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded and you are running marathons! I looked at your profile and HAD to order the heath fit counter!! That looks SO unbelievably cool. Thanks for putting up for us to take a look at. I might be contacting you for directions on how to USE the darn thing, but It should really come in handy!! Take care

Hi Patty, You will be able to run up the stairs I promise. I was regetting buying a two story soooo bad....but now I can't believe it, I just bound up those babies so fast I can't tell you how much I LOVE the counter. It's my bible. I entered my goals and then enter all the foods, and I know just where I am. I really have an issue with protein and this tells me if I am doing it with food or if I need to do a drink. Also, I just LOVE the fact it tracks your exercise as well. If I am eating a lot of cals and worry, I check and can see I have burned 500 cals so I tell meself, hey don't worry be happy. I love the size of it as well. I keep it at my nightstand and finish the day with it. Or put it in my purse.... You can email me when you get it and I would love to help you... Take care, Kathy

Thanks! I plan on carrying in my purse. My problem is I forget to write what I am eating down and I get to the end of the day and have no idea where i am. This way I can just carry it with me and enter it as I am finished eating so I do not lose track!!! I am sure I will be contacting you when I get it for pointers!

Thank you for the wonderful, kind words... You have been an inspiration as well. You are doing great and look fabulous darlin, just fabulous I ran about 50% of the race and walked the rest. What was interesting is it was soooo different from the treadmill. My time was better on the "road" than on the treadmill. Do you think it has something to do with all those people passing ya, that makes you want to run more Take care, Kathy

Way to go Kathy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a TOTAL inspiration!!!!! I hope that I can one day run a 5K!!! This past weekend, I walked 2 miles in the Heart Walk, and that was great! I do want to someday compete in a run! Somewhere down the road..... Dayna 310/227/110 P.S. Check my website for the pic after I climbed 250 steps to the top of Dingman's Falls in Pennsylvania!!! I NEVER would have CONSIDERED doing that prior to surgery!

Dayna Girl you are doing really awesome!!!! You WILL do that 5k, I promise. Doing the 2 mile walk is a great start.... And climbing 250 steps is just about the best work out for you... If you survive Isn't it the best feeling EVER. I want to get into this "BIG TIME" as I do feel it's the key to not putting this weight back on.... It was sooo great to hear from you Take care, Kathy
