Congrats on the century club!! I got a copy of a living will form at my local hospital. Your doc should be able to provide you one as well. I am not aware of a website, but perhaps you could do a search and see if you find what you are looking for.

Good luck, Giovanna, with your upcoming surgery. I had my knee done 2 weeks ago, so I'm dealing with the discomfort and PT right now, but I know how terrific it will be to be as active as my weight loss really allows me to be. I'm down 82 pounds and it really made a difference in my surgery. Terrific upper body strength. I thought losing weight might erase my need for a TKA, but not so. If you've never had a knee done, be prepared for plenty of hard work. My recovery from WLS was a cakewalk next to this recovery, but it's worth every moment of it. Donna

Hi Giovanna, As a former hospital chaplain, one of my responsibilities was rounding up witnesses to sign Living Wills when patients filled them out while in hospital (usually in the pre-op area). That's because the state of Georgia will not permit hospital employees to sign as witnesses if the document's being filled out on hospital property. Also, Georgia requires that all hospitals have blank Living Will forms available to the public. So you may be able to pick one up or download it from the hospital's website, fill it out now & use neighbors, friends or relatives to be witnesses. I'll be giving a talk at the Chicago show this Sat. morning & FREE consults on coaching for permanent weightloss throughout the day. Please intro yourself to me if you're attending! All the best, Lauralyn
