Chicago Plans

Here are the plans for Chicago Most of us are staying at the Congress Plaza Hotel Friday night Dennis suggested a bar called Howl at the Moon...sounds like a fun place to me...if we don't go there we will go somewhre near the Hotel Saturday night Stef suggested to go to Syn sometime before 10pm (no cover before 10). I think people are doing different things throughout the day....if anyone would like to email me for more info....I hope some of you would like to join us..... Tina

If Friday nite is Howl at the Moon then here is a brief descripton about it: The Scene Whoops and hollers are heard down the street from this outpost of the national chain. Decor is standard--stage, tables, bar--but the upbeat atmosphere draws a melting pot of young couples, older groups and birthday-celebrating 30-somethings. Those shy about singing gather around the front bar, while extroverts sit on the lower level of the two-level room. The Draw Two piano players, who face each other and take turns singing time-tested tunes like "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and the "The Brady Bunch" theme song. Requests are encouraged, and singing along is a given. The food menu leans southward, with good pulled pork sandwiches, meaty baby back ribs and thickly battered butterflied shrimp. Drinks include howlin' hurricanes like the Lucille, with two types of rum and strawberry flavoring. When groups can agree on the same sipper, they go for 86-ounce buckets of booze bliss, like the ever-popular Long Island Iced Tea.
