Wish Center - Who do you recommend?

I am thinking about having the lapband performed at the Wish Center in Chicago. Can anyone recommend a surgeon there? Thanks, Kerry

I had open RNY and had Jeff Rosen at WISH. He is very straight forward and does not mince words with you. He will give you all the facts, good and bad. He has a great sense of humor and knows his stuff. I am not sure that he does the band, but I would be surprised if he does not. All of their surgeries are bariatric. Have you gone to a seminar yet? They are free. Also, go on their web site it is very informative. http://www.wishcenter.org/ Also, the WISH location in the Chicago area is actually in Downers Grove, a western surburb of Chicago. Jeff Rosen did my surgery. He was very good in my opinon. I think they are all good at the Wish Center. I am down 194 lbs in the last 11 months. Good Luck

I'm with Chris and John on Rosen. I had open RNY, but I can attest to a great experience. I couldn't be happier. It's been 6 months. The WISH program is comprehensive and every professional involved (nurses, shrinks, exercise physiologists, etc. ) is awesome. I think 90% of the likelihood for success is the center you choose. You can't miss with the WISH center. Donna
