Illinois Lawyer?

Hi, I am posting for a friend. Yes, I really am! She has Cigna and has received her first denial. I have referred her to the attorney I used who is in New York. She is wondering if anyone has used an attorney in Illinois for their insurance appeal. If so would you be willing to give the name? My surgery date is getting here fast , Oct 5th! I had Cigna and changed insurance. I was tired of getting the runaround.It took me forever to even find what they wanted. It wasn't worth it. I was ready to go and borrow the money. I told my husband if I died waiting on the surgery to sue the insurance company. They want a dr supervised weight loss diet, and to be well documented, weigh in weight each month, behavior modification, a bariatric dietician, psychological evaluation, exercise program, etc; If all these have been done, then appeal and contact your congressman. They can put pressure on them.
