Wednesday, August 31, 2005 CST: 2 years ago this month hi all, I had a horrible experience with my initial surgery. I went into hospital aug 03 and came out nov 03. After almost dying twice and 7 surgeries due to leakage, infection and rupturing and numerous months of physical rehabilitation. I survived and now weigh 210lbs lighter and healther. I started off 400lb and now weigh 190lbs. I wore a 4xl shirt/56in pants and now wear a medium shirt/32in pants. I am very proud of myself but know each and everyday is a new day. I use the adversity that I have faced to my advantage and try to live life to the utmost. I am 33yrs young, single, good job and now feel like I want to face the new endeavors that my life has set out for me-'CARPE DIEM' I hope to see all of you at OH IL convention in Oct. Dennis, congratulations on being such a success at 2 years out. I too am 2 years out and feel great about having had the surgery. Enjoy the new you!
