Does OH Illinois have fun?

I just discovered this message board for OH Illinois recently. I am sure regulars have know each other for awhile. Wanted to know if there are regular social events that are held regularly for chicagoland area for members? by the way my name is dennis and post op 2years this month and have lost 210lb starting at 400lbs. I dont have picture posted yet but will share with anyone how would like to see my progress. I live in suburbs of chicago, Des Plaines Il. I have a new life now after all my changes and just want to go out and share it with people, especially those who have walk similars journeys that I have. hope to hear from you soon..

Hi Dennis Have you heard of the conference in Chicago the first weekend of October? A bunch of people from the singles board are going to Chicago that weekend, some are attending the conference, others are merely getting together to finally meet. I've met quite a few people from the IL board here and the main board and singles boards and made lots of new friends. Best wishes, Cathy

No way!! It's the OH conference thingy being advertised but a lot of people got a sour taste with all of the last minute planning and changes that went on. I don't know who's all going or not - it's at Weiss (I think) the first Saturday of October. I got your email - I'll give you a call about this weekend and stuff
