Sapala-wood micropouch
Hello everyone,
I'm JT first time posting on this board.
I just had the Sapala-wood micropouch on 8/22. I am doing fine , currently on an all liquid diet. I've decided to come on this board because i believe there is a cori center in illinois and I would like to hear about long term post-op results and side effects that others have experienced. My question is.. all of you long term post- ops ..are you able to eat anything now ? like bread? pasta? chocolate cake ? etc... even in small quantities.
I am only 1 week post op and i dont get hungry at all i just get head hungry and crave everything i see on tv or anything that my mom cooks... =x but i am really curious to know what you are able to eat now.
Thanks for any information.
Hi Lana!
Knowing your history..did you have the micropouch that is created from the "tuff" "hard" part of the upper stomach? (The part that is not supposed to stretch) Eeek! I have been debating between the open Micropouch and the Lap RNY (which i believe is not "micropouch" but produces a larger size pouch??)
Any responses are greatly appreciated!
If you want, you can email me privately.
Thank you.
