Got good news for me

Well i got a call today from the surgery department to find out some history and to get me a date for pre-op appointment.You know to get blood drawn and soforth.Well they r going to do a exam but no blood HA!.NO BLOOD GAS FOR ME!! HEHE they dont want any blood she said im so happy about that right now i dont mind getting needles but i heard that blood gas was not fun ,so it had me worried too.So i go this Friday to see D r.Oliphant for the last time til surgery,and i have the exam,and talk to a guy from Anesthesialogist.Then im done til surgery day.

That is good news Chandra~ What does the blood gas test measure, anyhow? In any event, you are one step closer to being on the losing end Katie

It measures the true oxygen lvl in ur blood,and i THINK they do that only patients that have heart problems or are smokers,cause i have neither.

Well Chandra I am so excited for you... I'm glad to hear Lori is gonna be your angel... I wish she'd come back and post with us so hopefully she will read this and know we miss her... Your in my thoughts for a speedy recovery and I will be watching for Lori's posts.... Debby
