8 days til surgery

I like to say that right now im scared outta my mind.I went to a class yesterday with Ann Dr.Oliphants nurse and i dont know what it is maybe all the talk about needles and things sticking outta me its not nothing i didnt know going into this,but its real nowThen they give you this papaer to sign saying you know if you have this surgery all these things could happen to you and the last ones death,but it was a good list. i know its just me,and if i do what im told everything should be all right,but im doing what most have done i guess.Im second guessing myself and wondering why im doing this and for what reasons,and yes i did the reason list(to or not to do thats the ???)I just wanna stay here til its over tell me when its over..I have waited over two yrs to do this and its here now and i dont know what to do.Someone tell me its gona be alright....

Girl- your going to be FINE... You are in EXCELLENT hands with Dr. Oliphant. I just love him. He's given me back my life that I didnt think I'd ever have again. Yep, I had the class with Ann too. Did you have anyone else in there with you? When I had my class, it was just me and my husband. Actually it was kind of nice that way, it was ALOT more 1 on 1 with her and I didnt feel silly asking questions that I probably should have known. The blood gas test wasnt really that bad.. I've had people say that the needle in the wrist hurts like hell, but honestly, I didnt even feel it go in or anything. The lady that does all that up there is AWESOME and sooo funny. Anyhoo, again, good luck on the 1st! I'm soo happy for ya!
