Off Track
Well guys its been ages since I have posted!
So after you start loosing weight...and well...ya kind of try some foods that well, you really shouldn't try...ya know a bit of chips, pretzels, popcorn...here and there...maybe a few french fries..
..not at all a daily event!...Ya get off track! I know it has to happen, I can't be the ONLY weak person out here!
So I was just wondering if anyone else has done this?
As of today I am TRYING to get back on track. I had never stopped exercising, that I do daily...but you know I have eaten lots of no-no foods!
SO help me out here...!! How did you get back on track.
How did you start back on the (My humble opinion) nasty tasting protein shakes? I am going to get those back in my rotation, starting tomorrow...but for now I need some help/encouragement!

You know, I was very, VERY good with food up until my 9 month mark, I wouldnt snack on anything, then all of a sudden I get the munchies ALL the time.
I have eaten way too many no-no foods its not even funny.
If its there I cant help but munch on it. Im trying to stay away from it, but its really SO, SO hard. I havent been working out either. I never really got into the swing of that. I would be at goal if I did.
I need someone to put their foot in my ass please. Any voulenteers?
Good luck to you getting back on track, I would like to be more encouraging but Im in the same boat.
What did you eat today... are you psychic? THat's what i'm talking about. All the NO-NO foods that i've been eating YUK. well yum, but you know...YUCK lol.
Well I did get off track while in mexico for a month. Then I started it when I came back...Beef Chop suey, crab rangoon or trying a piece of egg roll. I tried an onion ring, a donut, an ice cream...GIRL I can go on and on. What DIDN'T i try. But i can say that it was just a TASTE and I didn't hog on it like i would've pre-op. I tried it and would savor it like there's no tomorrow. The only thing I did eat was the chop suey. Girl I had about 5oz of that and I still say YUMMY lol.
Anywho, back to this.......post.
I did the liquid diet thing. That's what makes me "Cleanse" my body and get back to reality. It usually works for me.....except I've been at 158 for weeks. So something ain't giving. I think I need to up my liquid intake and up my exercising more. So my suggestion is start tomorrow clean free. Maybe a full liquid diet for a day or two. Then start all over .....go back to basics. That's what I do when I hit plateau's and it always gets me back on track.

Everyone eventually goes off track. Your 'new' life, your 'new' way of eating becomes your 'normal' life and way of eating. The way I get back on task is by looking at one of my old fat pics and reminding myself that those pounds arent 'GONE FOREVER', unless I MAKE THEM STAY GONE. Remind yourself that NOTHING ..no chocolate, no chips are worth being fat again.
Like I said, everyone slips up. Some of us worse than others..(me!) But give yourself a break. Youre only human..and you didnt have a lobotomy

No food taste as Good as Healthy and Thin feel!!!
I am 5months post op and i am down 68lbs!!
I tried Chicken Nuggets and I ended up in ER!!! With a bad case of Gastriniits(sp) So HMMMMMM LETS SEE DID I LEARN MY LESSON ?!!
YES I DID!!!!
So when i get off track I think HMMMMMMM Do I want to be in pain and in ER again NOOOOOOTTTTTTTT!!! LOL LOL
This journey is a hard one and I feel that if you want healthy and thin you will stay on track. Thats me. That what i say to myself.
