Need Support Group HELP!!

I think i've asked this question before but I would be so happy if someone could help me out. I am in Coulterville, IL and I am looking for a support group that is less than an hour to two hours away from me. The closest one is someone on the other side of St. Louis which is pretty far. If anyone could help I would be so greatful. I am also just lookin for friends in the near area that would maybe want to get together and talk. We could start our own support group if we have to. I don't care I think I just need to meet some people in the flesh that understand what I am going through. Please someone get back to me ... Thanks Carrie Southern IL

Carrie, the Barix clinics have support groups in Springfield. I know it's a trek, but I-55 is an easy drive. Their website should have a list and there might even be one closer. Hope this helps!

I live in Belleville and there is a support group meeting on the last monday of the month. It is at SWIC at 6PM.

Carrie, The second Tuesday of every month there is a meeting in Murphysboro. I just found out about it so I haven't been yet, but I plan on going next month. Ami

The 2nd Thursday of each month there is a support group meeting at St. Joseph's Hospital in Murphysboro. It is from 6pm-8pm in the cafeteria!!
