Checking In
Hey Girls, Girls and the Occasional Guy:
It's been a long time since I posted - I thought it was time for an update.
A year ago July (2004), I was 347. At surgery, on 3/8/05, I was down to 330. Today's nice number - 256 - 9 pounds and counting from the big century mark.
Here is a before and after comparison:

I got tired of losing hair everyday and decided that Uncle Fester would be my new role model.
Have patience plateauers -- you will be able to turn it around - I was dead in the water for 4 weeks and now its sliding off at the rate of close to 1 pound a day (at least that what the scale this week says!).
Now if I can just get my paperwork together to sue the pants off BCBS (a $5000 reimbursement on a $17000 sugeon bill) I'll be good.
Yours, up to the teeth,

Your little laughing heads got it right...It would take the US to turn itself into Canada - taint gonna happen. Too many people with lots of money would stop making it.
One party is in bed with the lawyer lobby. The other party is a ***** for the doctors, drug companies and insurance conglomerates. Neither party really cares about patients unless they are brain dead and their continuity of care can be manipulated somehow into the abortion debate. You're fine as long as you don't get sick!
But let me put away my soapbox - it's time to celebrate and dance! Then shave our collective heads!
Yippee!

Thanks for the response,,I've actually started to have women hit on me, much to the amusement of my wife!
Any luck with the insurance company and qualifying for surgeryz? They are *******s aren't they? In Europe this would be free and they'd give us a medal for good citizenship for doing it!
Love and kisses!
