Anyone here in this program that is still waiting on a surgery date?

I started in october got an appointment to begin in november and I get to see the sugon sept 23... The appointment was setup in june and that was the earliest. so then I might get a surgery date!!!

So it took you almost a year to even see the surgeon?? I am worried about my getting my insurance submission in by the end of the year and at this point I am not sure it is going to happen. They move a bit slow!

yep and when they made my appointment their were 2 other who just got appointments for end of september also. and if the surgon says yes I have no ideal how long it takes to have surgery I hope before the year is up

Have they even submitted to your insurance company yet? I know some clinics submit before you see the surgeon, but I was told I can not submit until After I see the surgeon and he writes up his notes?? If I do not get it submitted before the end of the year, I will have to do ANOTHER 2 year medically supervised diet. UGH!!!

I would call and ask and tell them that. Maybe they can work something out.. Good luck. You also might check with some other places at the same time just in case you can get in there quicker. You might be able to transfer all your stuff from siu to the new place good luck dee
