First-Time Angel Reporting for Duty

Hello, Illinois board-ers! When I was contemplating and preparing for my surgery last July, I found an angel named Kathy who guided, supported and inspired me. Once through the procedure, she encouraged me to "pay it forward" and serve as an angel for someone else who needed the things she provided me. I don't think I can ever repay my angel for all her help, but I am finally, at almost exactly a year after my surgery, ready to fulfill my promise to her. I am serving as an angel for a wonderful lady named Michelle who is havng her procedure THIS COMING TUESDAY (August 2nd). She's fairly new to the site, but maybe you've seen her in the main chatroom as MichelleDpre-op. I told her to be sure to check on her surgery page for well-wishes from people, but she said that she didn't think too many people would go there because she hadn't had the chance to "meet" too many people here yet. Well, I thought, she really doesn't know the people on the Illinois board very well, does she?
