Sadona, First of all, relax and breathe. Second, I know what it is like to wait and wait and have to deal with the medicare situation. Medicare is my primary, with medicaid secondary. I, however, had my surgery in Michigan, becuase I lived there at the time I had it. One thing I would suggest doing is search medicare.gov to find surgeons in your area who take medicare. Then, compare them to the list of bariatric surgeons on ObesityHelp. Hopefully, you will find a match somewhere in those lists!I do hope things work out for you. Good luck! And, if you need any help or just want to chat, feel free to email me. Steph

Sadona, I did a cross-check on surgeons on medicare.gov and surgeons on OH. I found some that have not registered on OH, but I believe they have done the surgery. I am not sure which version they have done...RNY or Lap Band, but it would be worth checking them out. Hope that helps! Steph
