Need directions

Hi everyone I have my consult on Monday in Harvey Illinois with the CORI centers and was wondering if anyone could possibly help me with some driving directions. I live down in southern Illinois and have printed some directions from mapquest but it has lots of roads to get on and off of and was wondering if anyone has a more direct route or experience with getting there from where they live. Anita I am not from around there, but my sister does. Does mapquest tell you to take I-80 then 294?? There is MAJOR road construction going on around there and it is backed up for hours (according to my sister) I would maybe call them to find an alternate route. You might have to go a bit out of your way (like take back roads) but it would be worth it. Perhaps someone from that area will respond as well and give you better info! I just know we are going to see her next weekend (she is in Chicago heights - right off 80) and she gave us an alternate route to avoid the construction.

Hi Anita!! My name is Barb from Springfield, IL. and I have my first consultation and psyche evaluation for Cori at Ingalls Hospital on August 8, 2005. My son is going to take me and I went to AOL city guide and typed in the address I am coming from (my house) and the address of the hospital (in Harvey, IL) and it gave me a step by step what interstates to use, what roads to turn what direction on and everything!! I was in shock it was so detailed!! Good luck and wish me luck too!!! I know you must be as excited as I am!!

hi anita glad you made it back safe and hope you enjoyed your trip. i also got my directions from mapquest and had no trouble getting there....the hospital is HUGE..... and if you can't find it when you get off of rt 6 then just stop at the first gas station you see...thats what we did.....and we got there quicker...hope this helps and i am STILL waiting for my approval
