Surgery Postponed 3 Months

San, I know how disappointed you must be even though it's for a good reason. Mine is scheduled for the 25th also and I had a vena cava filter inserted yesterday. (Dr. said Greenfield is a brand name for a specific type of vena cava filter). Anyhow, it really wasn't the big deal I thought it would be. The IV was the only part that was bad, as usual. And I had to lay on my back with my legs straight for 4 hours which was uncomfortable for me. I have the kind that will come out in August. I know how hard it is to get approved and how it's difficult to concentrate on anything else once the wheels are in motion. Keep the faith and it will come to you in time. Sherry

San sorry to hear about the waite on your surgery..It has to be a huge let down, but try to be patient and keep busy and keep learning all you can from this site maybe in the long run the extra few months will get you evewn more ready for surgery, I had my surgery cancelled the last 2 weeks and im suppossed to get it this Mon 25th and I really think I needed the extra couple weeks to prepare myself..even though I was acting l;ike a 2 year old spoiled brat throwing a fit and hiding in my room because I was so upset, but after the fit I knew it was just meant to be that I wait and get mental;ly prpared.
