Just Beginning........

I just went to my first support class,and really enjoyed it. I got alot of information, and my questions answered. I have my first appointment with my surgeon on Aug. 2nd. I know I have aways to go, but i'm so excited. I even have a mentor, who chose me out of everyone, that made me feel real good to know she will be there whenever i need her, and believe me i will, as i will need you all. I will keep you in touch with everything as it goes. Weight is something I have struggled with for many years, now at 34, it's time i get my life back. In the meantime i will await paitently.

HI Glad to know there are people in the area. I live in Normal and am scheduled in Sept in Evanston , I too have thought about this along time . I love my support group also and I feel that is very important since this will be a life long friendship , support group. AMY
