cancelled again !!

I knew everything was going to smooth, last Sunday night I had my surgery for the 11th cancelled because the Dr. had a emergency and resceduled for july 18th.....Well Fri evening I was called from Cori Center and told that once again I was being cancelled for my july 18th surgery because I have pnemonia! I had my post op tests on the 5th of July and all was fine then They call me and say that these chest x-rays were somehow overlooked, how is that possible if I was going into surgery on the 11th with a clean bill of health, and had Dr. Wood not cancelled for his emergancy I would have had myh surgery...Im vbery confused and I have called every one at the center even trying to get to Dr. Wood himself but no luck with him..so as of right now I just see what every one has decided...this really stinks! I feel like it will never get done.. oh well hope every one else with a sceduled surgery has a uneventful surgery without any complications I will be thinking of all of you having your surgerys good luck! and I will keep you all posted, lisa michelle

Look at it as a blessing in disguise. When it is your time, the Lord above will see to it that it happens. Get yourself well and continue to try to get answers from the Dr. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. It is long and difficult on the mind. I will keep you in my prayers. Shelley

Lisa, I know just how you feel. My surgery was supposed to be this coming Monday and has been postponed for 3 months. Sounds like your situation is even a bit worse since you feel like you aren't getting straight answers. Hope you get answers and you get your surgery soon. Best of luck to you, San
