Why is this taking so long???

It has now been 2 weeks since my info has been submitted to the state (Public Aid) Every profile I read that has medicaid said it only took one week for approval, I'm getting scared that maybe they are going to deny me. Does anyone one know a number I can call to check my status? I will be so devastated if I am denied, I have been trying to make so many changes in my life and this is one of the biggest one because I know it will have such a great impact on my life. Any information anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Laura
