I am new, I had my consulation with Dr. Vaughn 6/23. What a great guy. Now, I'm playing the insurance game. While I am 99% convinced that having a Roun-y is the only way I will avoid diabeties I still worry about possible complications in the future. Everyone is so positive on this board and I keep trying to find negative views on the surgery. I guess I want to hear what problems everyone has had, how many years you have been on the losing side and would you do it over? I went to the Yahoo! WLS "grad" site. I heard of people gaining back the weight. That scares me. I realize I have to say goodbye to my boyfriends sugar and caffiene but I'm willing to do it, if I have the help.

I'm seriously trying to think of a regret but I can't come up with one. Maintaining weight is a daily struggle but not too bad if you exercise and eat right (just like pre-op). The only regret I have is relating to plastic surgery (I should have paid to have my legs done while I was under!). Learn from others and follow the rules and you will do fine. People go astray when they forget where they came from and go back to old habits. Good luck! Dawn
