weight gain
Hi Candi,
I'm sorry to hear you are gaining weight -- than can be scary! I gained 8 lbs of "water" weight a few months ago -- like overnight -- and that was enough to scare me.
I guess the obvious questions are:
1. Are you journaling what you are eating to know exactly how many calories you take in. Are you on RemedyMD?
2. Are you exercising?
3. Are you drinking enough liquid (water)?
4. Are you taking in enough protein (insufficient protein can cause water gain, too)?
I'm sure Dr. Marshall told you to avoid the whites (sugar, flour, rice, pasta, potatoes). He and I think alike! LOL

Candi:
My doctor told me that once you hit your goal weight that it is possible to gain 10 pounds or more...He suggested 10 pds if you are still exercising and eating right it is just natural for your body to stabilize..Of course I told my doc I wasn't going to gain 10 pds..lol....I know other post ops that are 2 yrs plus out that have gained some weight 10-30 pds...it depends on the individual....Hope that helps some I know none of us want to gain weight not even a couple of pounds after working so hard to get where we are now.,
