Has anyone had wls at Memorial hospital? Springfeild IL

Hello, I'm currently looking into wls. I would like to have my surgery done in springfeild, IL. If at all possible, the only thing is I'm on public aid. So if anyone has had wls there or at St. Joes w/ public aid or just comments on the doc's and staff please let me now. It would be really appreciated. Thank you so much for your help. Rechelle Gass

Hi Rechelle I had my surgery through the COMP (comprehensive obesity management program) clinic in Springfield. Dr's Sutyak and Peralta do the surgery at Memorial in Springfield and the care that I received from everyone there was excellent. Hi Rechelle and welcome! I too, just like Cathy above, had my surgery at MMC and went through the COMP Clinic. I don't know anything about the Public Aide aspect, except that they do work with people through the COMP Clinic. Good luck!!! Katie
