Looking for a nutritionist at St. Alexius/Alexian Bros.

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good nutritionist/dietician at St. Alexius or Alexian Bros.

Carrie, Just give the hospital a call and they will give you to nutritionist. I saw her 2 1/2 years ago and I don't remember her name, I was in a group setting. Don't know how good she is because I just saw her for the post-op eating, which is madatory by my surgeon or they will not do your surgery. Good Luck D

Hi Carrie I had my surgery at Alexian Brothers and my surgeon James Kane Jr Mandated a session with a dietician,,,,,,I would recommend that you call your surgeon and ask them for a recommendation.....the gal I saw was okay.......I think someone who has had WLS will be able to help you with questions and alot of information.......you may also want to visit the web site for vitalady.com......she is incredibly smart and knowledgeable and is a WLS patient also.......Best wishes.......it is a wonderful journey .....I am 16 months post and down 107 pounds and at goal.......life if great........Patti

Carrie, give me a couple hours and I will get you the name of one of the dieticians at St Alexius. My husband (he is sleeping still) knows her better than me. She goes to my church. She is on the staff of St Alexius and is part of the bariatric program there. Christine

Carrie, The name of the dietician that my husband knows is Elaine Sutton at St Alexius. Like I said she is with the bariatric program there and we think the highest of her. Hope this will you.
